Step 1: Filter Paper Preparation

Eco-friendly fuel and oil filter paper differ from spin-on fuel and oil filter paper, typically having a higher basis weight because there are no metal parts for support and sealing, thus requiring higher basis weight and strength to provide support and prevent collapse under pressure impact.

Oil filter paper recommendation: Choose phenolic resin cured, full glue paper, eco-friendly oil filter paper type.

Fuel filter recommendation: Choose phenolic resin cured, full glue paper, Euro III composite fuel filter paper type.

Step 2: Filter Paper Pleating

Use an automatic pleating machine to pleat the filter paper evenly, ensuring consistent spacing and tight arrangement to maximize its effective filtration area, thereby enhancing the filter paper's dirt holding capacity and ensuring efficient filtration of fuel and oil.

Step 3: Filter Paper Cutting

Use a filter paper cutting equipment and precisely cut the filter paper to ensure that each piece meets the design standards in terms of size and edges.

Step 4: Filter Paper Bonding

Use a hot melt filter paper bonding machine and hot melt adhesive to bond and seal the pleated filter paper, ensuring sufficient sealing at the top and bottom of the filter paper.

Hot melt adhesive recommendation: There are three material options: EVA, PO, and PA. Among them, EVA has the highest cost-performance ratio, PO hot melt adhesive has better moisture resistance, and PA hot melt adhesive has better high-temperature resistance. You can choose according to the actual situation.

Step 5: Metal End Cap Stamping

Use a stamping machine to produce metal end caps, which are mainly used to seal the ends of the filter mesh, ensuring that all gas passes through the filter without leakage, usually made of galvanized sheet material.

Metal end cap recommendation: Materials include stainless steel plate, galvanized steel plate, anti-fingerprint steel plate. You only need to provide the OEM number, and we will customize the design and production for you.

Step 6: Metal End Cap Bonding

Use a filter end cap gluing machine to bond and seal the metal end cap with the filter element, typically using two-component filter adhesives or single-component thermosetting adhesives.

Two-component filter adhesive recommendation: Two-component PU adhesive is more suitable for high viscosity, high temperature, and high strength bonding, with moderate price, making it the most cost-effective.

Single-component thermosetting adhesive recommendation: LM1712, PLM Filter specially designed and produced for end caps, easy to use.

Use a fully automatic ECO filter rotary hot plating machine to assemble plastic end caps and inner tubes with filter paper, forming a complete eco-friendly fuel and oil filter.
