Cured vs Uncured Filter Paper

Performance	Oil filter paper: Filter paper impregnated with phenolic resin ensures the durability of oil filter element in harsh environments. Fuel filter paper: The surface performance of the filter paper is very important in the process of oil-water separation. Usually, the surface of filter paper impregnated with phenolic resin has adequate hydrophobicity to facilitate the coalescence and filtration of free water.	It has excellent thermal stability, and the impregnated filter paper has good heat resistance, maintaining its performance stability at higher temperatures. It has economic and practical advantages, with relatively low cost of acrylic resin, making this filter paper advantageous in terms of cost-performance ratio.

Surface Type

Flat Oil Filter Paper

It is impregnated with phenolic resin to meet filtration needs in harsh working environments. Generally used for oil filters in small cars, with internal drum processing in the filter paper folding stage.

Corrugated Oil Filter Paper

Compared to flat oil filter paper, it has a higher grammage, stronger pressure resistance, and a larger filtration area. Generally used for oil filters in large vehicles, with internal drum and external flower processing in the filter paper folding stage.

Types

Eco-Friendly Oil Filter Paper

The eco-friendly oil filter consists of filter paper, rubber sealing rings, connecting pipes or brackets, and other plastic components, without any metal parts. Because it does not use any metal parts, it is more energy-efficient and reduces carbon emissions, hence it is called an eco-friendly oil filter. The filter paper used in it is eco-friendly oil filter paper.

The weight of eco-friendly oil filter paper is generally around 180 g/m², with an air permeability of 400–450 L/m²/s. Because there are no metal parts for support and sealing, the weight is greater and the strength is higher, so it can provide support and is less likely to collapse under pressure impact.

Standard oil filter paper

Standard oil filter generally refers to spin-on oil filters, which consists of filter paper, a metal shell, a support inner core, and upper and lower metal end caps. The filter paper used in it is standard oil filter paper.

The weight of standard oil filter paper generally falls within 135–140 g/m², with an air permeability of 400–450 L/m²/s. Because it has a metal shell, metal inner core, and upper and lower end caps for sealing and support, the weight is generally lighter than that of eco-friendly oil filter.
